We all need to wake up, and march down london with "Let's kill Aragones Banners", or maybe if you think that's a little too drastic we could use the "lets kick racism out" banners.

I don't wear those bands...none of them.

They're just a marketing tool for Nike so fuck them.

Plus I only lend my support in exceptional circumstances.

We shouldn't need bands to tell our kids what is right & what is wrong.

Yeah, all the people know have got them.

Most of them managed to get them for free though - don't ask me how because I never gave a fuck & bothered to ask them.

They've got racism ones, bullying ones & a bunch of other ones.

They're fashion accessories. I mean one of my mates got a Rangers one the other day.

Like I say though, there are dude's who are bullying people wearing that shit.

So many hypocrites. The thing is with the racism bands, people wearing couldn't tell you the first thing about American Civil Rights, apartheid in SA, the treatment of Indians in Britain etc, etc.

The reason I mention Indians ThUg $TyLe is in part because of you but also, so people don't say that US Civil Rights & apartheid in SA doesn't affect or never happened here.

The Indian thing obviously goes back to Gandhi & massacres at the hands of the British in India.

Anyways, ThUg $TyLe, an off the cuff question for you: how often have you been called a 'paki'?

Just for the fact that you're Indian, so not only can it be taken as an insult, but a factually incorrect insult.

I know a lot of people just group different people together like that.

And in Glasgow there are a lot of Asians & this term is used a lot. I know some actual Pakistanis who don't mind being called one or referred to as one when it's someone they know, but obviously if it's some random dude, it will be construed as being malicious - which it usually will be if someone they don't know is calling them that.

I just wondered where non-Pakistanis stood with the whole situation.

Yea, I know what you mean about the hypocrite thing, most of the people I know who wear them against racism bands are racist.

All the pakistani's here say it to each other, but if a non-pakistani says it, they will get offended.

I don't use the word and don't really like the word.

What, if you - a dude of Indian heritage, which is essentially their heritage - say it, they'll get offended? Weird.

I've got hold my hands up & say that I use it quite a lot when referring to Pakistanis but I can't think of a time when I've ever said it with malice - it's just how people speak up here.

But, that said, there is a shopkeeper who I've known for almost all my life - because he lives in the area where I went to school (I lived elsewhere) which is where my grandparents also stayed - who doesn't mind me saying it to him. Although, I rarely say it to him because it feels a little awkward regardless of him always saying shit like "Who's the top Paki?" & "They Pakis are fucking gayboys" when talkign about his competitors lol.

Anyway, we should take this to Troublesome96 where conversations are allowed to blossom.

Troublesome never seems to work for me

always says cannot find server when i go to the forum hmmm :(

Oh yea if i said it, they would get offended.

What, it doesn't even come up?

That's weird, we got shut down but now have like 70 users again.

And I can't help but find it weird that they'd be offended if you said it. I suppose it is a 'click mentality' but still, they will be descendants from India so...the again, maybe the click thing includes the religion thing.

Still though, that shopkeeper is fucking hilarious. Some of the shit he says is so outrageous & so far from PC that he should be on stage!

He ain't that shitty, he's an above average striker. Not relying on him, but he's been actually doing a good job lately. So has Niko Kovac and Srna.
