Yet again Portugal have been extremely mediocore. How on Earth does such a talented team like Portugal alongside Spain who ae in the same predictament (sp?) also struggled to inferior teams? Because there's a curse over the Iberian penninsula (sp?).

At the moment I think Figo is irrelevant in the teams chances, though his a great player and a leader. He didn't do much for Portugal in Euro, what lifted the team was the young cats full of nothing but wanting to go out there and give it their all. Enthusiasm (sp?).

Cristiano Ronaldo, Nuno Gomez and possibly Peta or Tiagoinho are the essential keys. We need another goalie too because Vitor Baia is a dickhead.

Figo is a legend, but past it.

Portugal had some great players, all of which, are past it.

Despite Ronaldo, Portugal won't see another good chance to pick up silverware for quite a while me thinks.

Spain won't nothing for the next decade at least.
