Rukas, I don't get what you're saying. You blame Jay for the flop of artists that were already there (Ghostface, Budden, etc.) but yet you won't give Jay the credit of the success of the artists that were already there.
Some of the biggest names in today's Hip-Hop are under Def Jam. As far as majors go, no other label is having the success that Def Jam is. Given the current climate of poor record sales, what did you really expect Jay to do?
