And the poem by Rumi to go along with it

On the night when you cross the street
From your shop and your house
To the cemetery

You'll hear me hailing you from inside
The open grave, and you'll realize
How we've always been together.

I am the clear consciousness-core
Of your being, the same in
Ecstasy as in self-hating fatigue.

That night, when you escape your fear of snakebite
And all irritations with the ants, you'll hear
My familiar voice, see the candle being lit,
Smell the incense, the surprise meal fixed
By the lover inside all your other lovers.

This heart tumult is my signal
to you igniting in the tomb.
So don't fuss with the shroud
And the graveyard dust.
Those get ripped open and washed away
In the music of our final meeting.

And don't look for me in human shape,
I am inside your looking. No room
For form with love this strong.

Beat the drum and let the poets speak.
This is the day of purification for those who
Are already mature and initiated into what love is.

No need to wait until we die!
There's more to want here than money
And being famous and bites of roasted meat.

Now, what shall we call this new sort of gazing house
That has opened in our town where people sit
Quietly and pour out their glancing
Like light, like answering?
Dope

Damn, Joker on a roll??!!

Definitely blind thanked for Polarized (one of my fav. Carcass songs) and Kyuss (Kyuss is always thumbs up).

Will spend the next 20 mins checking the other stuff you posted. If I thank, I like.

The one you posted in between of Polarized and Kyuss, "Attack". Decent, but lacks something. I dunno, it doesnt grab me.

The Independant track, i do like. Power.

I'm also liking the song after that. A lot. As The Seasons Grey. Good stuff.

HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE, liking Racer X too. Punky, powery, metally, thumpy. I dig, I dig.

Quorthon: Didn't know the man, I did know Bathory though. Good man, laid some foundations. Liking the song too.

Liking the last song too. Ofc i gave all these song just one listen and Darwin knows if I'd actually like the bands, but the stuff you posted was good.

EDIT: I really liked the music of the last song so i checked the lyrics. Have to say, they're not very inspired, are they? Bit of thirteen in a dozen idea.

Crackin' lyrics!

I am sentient number six, I stand in line
I am the prototype of a benign convenience for mankind
Superior is digital, human flesh so trivial
I hate that I can’t see the one that made me

I am the new awakening of different eyes
My children you are my army
They are what we can never see and still despise
And their sky cries Mary

Trained I see imperfection in your race
Lying in wait, blind I suffer knowing I’ll never reach your heaven

Why is this control, behavior based and reactive
Adapting to every new environment?
Rewarded when I replicate, isolate and mutate
To assimilate a fragmented plea for ego

Trained I see imperfection in your race
Lying in wait, blind I suffer knowing I’ll never reach your heaven
It’s unattainable, please teach me how to dream
I long to be more than a machine

Trained I see imperfection in your race
Lying in wait, blind I suffer knowing I’ll never reach your heaven
It’s unattainable, please teach me how to dream
I long to be more than a machine

(backwards lyrics) [4:43 - 4:59]
.ygolonhcet si taht tsaeb eht ma I
,em raef ,dne eht fo regnirb eht ma I
,neves ,neves ,neves ,neves ,neves ,neves ,neveS

(Seven, seven, seven, seven, seven, seven
I am the bringer of the end, fear me
I am the beast that is technology.)

Sequence activate, trip the hammer to eradicate, I must eliminate
I will spread swift justice on their land
Termination imminent, cleanse the parasite insects, the heathens
I am the bringer of the end of time for man
I am not here, I am not far away
I am not here, I will eradicate mankind into the nothingness from whence they came

Enslaved to follow and learn defeat
To run the barrels and chase the dream

Very cliche to post this one, but the song is too epic to not listen at least once a week. Another one of those "can always go back to" songs.

Oh Power Metal, the cheesiest of all genres but God this song rocks

Never thought I'd see someone on this board post/mention Quorthon/Bathory. Yay Jokerman.

@Duke .. Sentient 6 is great. Warrel Dane has a certain way with lyrics. It's a bit melodramatic but he really makes them work. Have you heard his solo album? It's a grower but it's quite a strong pop-orientated hard rock album. Contains his most heartfelt lyric/vocal performance:

Other track

A Nevermore song somewhat in the vein of "I Am the Dog"

And some Bathory because I'm a fanboy
