I read somewhere that 2Pac was poor. Even though he had a lot of possessions they were Death Row's and other people's. Is this true?

yes i heard afeni talken about that on a 60 minutes special i believe it too

He supposedly died with less than 100 thousand in the bank! but you dont get your royalties for a while after your album drops so the royalties from aeom were still to come in which could have been anything up to 10 million! so i read somewhere.

Is this in a 'Money' or a 'Spiritual' sense of the word Poor? For if Tupac was religious I would believe he thought his riches in Heaven.

He was homeless for two years, isn't that poor.

He said himself he went from rags to riches, he must have been poor at some time.

aeom sold about 3-4 mil and like pac said, it was the most expensive rap album at the time and it still sold that much. say US$22 (though it was probably higher - around 30), pac would get around 5 (normally around one quarter) from each cd, so thats about 20 mil if it was 4 mil copies...

stop trying to be intelligent

tupac was essentially broke at the time of his death, i remember reading he had 15-20,000 dollars in his name, everything he had "was loaned" to him by deathrow and they were fucking him out of his cash, hence 1 of afeni's many lawsuits. death row was screwin him, he owned nothing.

Most of the rumours are just that rumours. If 2pac didn't own any of his own cars then why is his 500 benz at Afeni's ranch?

We don't know if Suge owed him money or not, maybe the royalties were due and hadn't been paid to DR yet, so Pac wouldn't have been paid. It's all hearsay. Also Pac himself in an interview said he owed DR money.
And you only get 10% max from a cd at a major label.

Are you giving me facts or your opinion?

This whole thread is opinion or rumour. I'm not sticking up for Suge or DR, but I work on facts. Like the facts Afeni has his 500, that 2pac said he owed DR money.

....

Who said I was 'Trying'?

Kind of odd when Tupac is down in the Guiness book of records as the most succesful rap star and he aint got no money - and doesn't even drink Guiness either!! Don't know what that is about.

It must have been one of Suge's shady dealings, I bet he a greedy muthafuker. But now he's paid the price and drives a Ford :D

Well, if your boss tells you you owe him money, you think you do.

Pac wasn't having DR audited at the time of his death for no fucking reason. He was getting smart and probably realized he was OWED, not that he owed.
