Maybe if we change our profile pics to have a rainbow overlay, we can at least get Zuck and Elon to keep the rules that prevent us from making fun of the gays?
In addition to the drop in posts about Israel-Palesting all over the front page of Reddit, I just remembered I haven't seen a monthly death count of soldiers in Russia and Ukraine. Or headlines of Zelenksy demanding things from the EU and US. We really do have the attention spans of goldfish.
I'm still not sure TikTok doesn't get banned. I haven't followed the situation closely but I feel like we would see headlines everywhere and people between the ages of 10 and 50 would be on the streets rioting to overturn the ban. It's kind of eerie that it's so quiet on that front. Maybe I'm wrong and maybe those people have faith that a resolution will be reached? Or they've got their itch scratched with Red Note and they're fine so long as they have 5 second clips to continue watching.
But the content creators, though....There are some that are solely on TikTok and no where else.

Totally fine with blaming Trump on this. Despite whatever rock they crawled out from, I'm glad people are out in the cold protesting the ultimate threat to democracy that is Trump.
