the wire does have great character depth though. ill agree that breaking bad has that with some of the characters, not all of em. I think he's right, the wire is on a whole other level

The Wire doesn't have character studies per se like Breaking Bad has with Walt. Which is not a bad thing, but again, goes back to how the shows are meant to be.
