thoughts on Slaughterhouse's Hammer Dance:
1. Four kids never sat at the cool table (viable commercial dance song creators) and are trying to find a way in. Fail.
2. Joe Budden was the only artist out of the four to successfully break into that "type of song that will be played at a 16+ club on the weekend" cool circle and that was a long, long time ago.
I mean, are you trying to find a way to appeal both to lyricism and the club at the same time? It's not working. Or is the song ironic? Are you in hipster mode? Still fail.
and fuck, can we stop referencing MC Hammer? Even with Rick Ross that was pretty much the worst song on his album.
