This is my thread

thoughts on Slaughterhouse's Hammer Dance:

1. Four kids never sat at the cool table (viable commercial dance song creators) and are trying to find a way in. Fail.
2. Joe Budden was the only artist out of the four to successfully break into that "type of song that will be played at a 16+ club on the weekend" cool circle and that was a long, long time ago.

I mean, are you trying to find a way to appeal both to lyricism and the club at the same time? It's not working. Or is the song ironic? Are you in hipster mode? Still fail.

and fuck, can we stop referencing MC Hammer? Even with Rick Ross that was pretty much the worst song on his album.

I have no earthly clue what the hell you're talking about.

did i forget something? it scares me that i don't recall how joan and greg met.

See, this season started just as I was finishing season one on Netflix, so I missed everything in between. I was all, whoa, who's Don's new wife?

LOL.

You skipped Seasons 2-4....!

I am finding it hard to remember back to Season 4. But.... I have only watched one episode of the new season so far. I have a lot to catch up on. But I have been reading a lot, and watching The Killing...!

yeah, i stopped watching the killing after s01. i realized i never really liked anything about the show except that it would name drop places in seattle while they filmed in vancouver, bc and that i really wanted to find out who killed the girl. now i don't give a shit.

Because of your talking about it, I downloaded the first three episodes of Mad Men to see what it was about. I did the same with Californication two weeks ago and I'm on season 4 right now and loving it.

Mad Men is on Netflix? I might just watch the rest of it on there, then. I do get good download speeds here, though, and a season won't take more than half an hour. Might just stick to that.

The girl I like is from Vancouver.

Eh....sometimes I think it'd make school life even harder. But pounding out some knuckle-children to her isn't healthy either.

It doesn't help she's been seen with a few guys a lot for only a week or two at at time, before they stop hanging out completely. Meaning, she'll go for coffee runs late at night while studying with some guy. She'll do this for a week or two. Then...nothing. They don't not talk, but it's not like before. Which leaves me wondering...what's "wrong" with her? Someone's told me she isn't the type to put out, which is fine. But that's the only driving force in guys abruptly stop talking to her?

Excuses, I know. I talk to the other girls just fine. This one just makes it tougher since she's rather quiet and studious herself.
