Marbury is a cancer on a team I dont see Boston picking him up.

pz

God i hope not, if Danny Ainge has any common sense he'd pass on Marbury.

heard Dallas was interested in him, who would get traded?? Cuban would be the one to bring him there.

Kobe Bryant is an eight-time member of the all-defensive team, but Coach Phil Jackson wants him to take fewer risks on defense.

Bryant has been trying to get extra steals, doing a little too much freelancing for Jackson's taste.

"We're trying to work with Kobe in staying inside the team framework of how we play defense," Jackson said. "Because he's such a good defensive player with great anticipation, sometimes he might take a foray into the steal market and come away empty-handed, which compromises our defense."

Jackson didn't seem enthused that Bryant, Lamar Odom, Trevor Ariza and Jordan Farmar have a season-long bet on which one of them will have the most steals.

"I know these kids have notches on their belt as to how many steals they have because there's three or four of them that are in the competition of who's going to get the most," Jackson said.

"It does cost you defensively. Steals are not a mark of a great defensive player."

Ariza has 34 steals, Bryant has 28, Odom 26 and Farmar 22.

damn, theyre that good...... lol

kobe has to make a game within the game, fuck lol

Pistons will start Stuckey, expect McDyess vs. Wizards

WASHINGTON D.C. -- Pistons coach Michael Curry announced after today’s morning practice that second-year point guard Rodney Stuckey will be in the starting lineup Tuesday night against the Washington Wizards.

Center Kwame Brown will now come off the bench, and the other four starters will each shift up one spot. Allen Iverson will play shooting guard, Richard Hamilton will play small forward, Tayshaun Prince will play power forward and Rasheed Wallace center.

Curry made the move hoping it will get the team off to better starts.

In other news, power forward Antonio McDyess wasn’t at practice today, but is still expected to be in uniform Tuesday vs. the Wizards.

Today was the first day McDyess could re-sign with the Pistons after being part of the trade that sent Chauncey Billups the Denver Nuggets for guard Allen Iverson.

i doubt itll work for the long term. if pistons want any success, bring iverson off the bench with 2nd unit and start stucky. shit iverson can jock all he wants with the 2nd unit, no bitchin
