Given is the best keeper in the EPL along with Lehman

Nah Lehmann is past it imo. he was a good keeper though.

Cech is probably the best but if Given was with a top team, he would be considered among the best in the World. I have only seen him make one bad mistake (the one where the striker came around the back of him, took the ball of him and scored). Some of the saves he makes are superb.

Buffon, Casillas, Cech, Kahn, Van Der Sar, Julio Cesar, Coupet, Canizares, Given are my top keepers in the World.

Oh and Brad Friedel is a great keeper as well.

Kameni should be in that list maybe, his errors have pretty much gone and hes a superb shot stopper. I like Hildebrand aswel, he should be the number 1 at Valencia.

Michael Carrick is out for six weeks with a fractured elbow which occured during the Roma game which strangely no-one seemed to notice. Who's going to replace him, Anderson? O'Shea? Maybe even Giggs. Pretty big loss in my opinion he's been better than Scholes so far this season.

No he's out for a fresh four weeks. He had an injection to sort out his forever re-occuring knee problem. Fletcher is also out.

I hope Anderson gets a few games under his belt. Most probably gonna be O'Shea though.

Yup..O'shea isnt that good. But I doubt Fergie will play Scholes and Anderson. Pique can play there but I doubt that aswel.

I'm not sure how good Pique is at DM. Assuming Wesley's going to return at right back, I imagine it will be Scholes and Super John O'Shea. Can't see Anderson starting, but hopefully he will come on at some point. The other feasible option would be Scholes and Giggs in the middle, with the two Portugueses on the wings. Not very defensive, but it's only Wigan.

Great result for United, I thought we shuffled and coped with the injuries well. Seems Tevez is finding his form..

How come there are only two Premier League games today?

Pique was outstanding I thought..especially as he has limited expericence in the Premiership.

Tevez was good 2nd half especially. Along with Anderson, who will slowly find his form. Simpson aswel was good.

Champagne football from United, hopefully we'll play more like that from now on. First half was frustrating, but I guess that's to be expected with all the injuries. Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez and Anderson just terrorised Wigan second half. Defence didn't have too much to do, but they played well and Simpson looked good going forward too.

Was at the Man City-Middlesbrough game today. Man City played some nice football and Elano was outstanding.

Afonso scored 7 goals in one game at the weekend.

Sevilla are really on a losing streak..maybe the Puerta situation really messed them all up.

Sven took the money and bought some players who play nice attacking football AND win games. I don't know why Mourinho couldn't have done that.

I just wonder how many of Citeh's stars will still be there next season if big clubs try to poach them.

I wouldn't be surprised if Elano was snatched by someone else next season. I could see him heading to La Liga.
