On topic: RIP. I was a fan of Ryan Dunn/Jackass
I don't drink so I can't offer any first hand information here but the one time I was slightly tipsy.. I didn't want to walk.. there's absolutely NO WAY I'd have tried to ride a bicycle, let alone drive a car.
Slightly off topic, people seem to be constantly looking for someone to blame. How about yourselves? Peers? Each other? We live in a society that worships people like Ryan Dunn. He made a career out of doing absolutely ridiculous nonsense. And he dies after doing something ridiculous and everyone wants to say it's "X" fault. Its the fault of the culture. A monster was created. He's been rich since he was young, no responsibilities really, an adrenaline junky.. he did exactly what anyone who knows him would've expected him to do.. something wreckless. Unfortunately, this time it ended his life. Fortunately, no one else was injured in the process. I don't think it's fair to judge someone for doing exactly what we would expect them to do and even honor them for doing. If a NA Football player dies from an aneurysm from repeated head injuries, do we blame him because he was playing a dangerous sport? IDK that there's much of a difference outside of the fact that one is socially acceptable and one (drinking/driving) isn't. IDK just a few random thoughts.
Either way... RIP.
