New Napoleon Interview

#21
just seems like a contradiction.............how do the rest of the U.S. group feel that he's leaving after there debu album...........it wont be the U.S. anymore either cos Napo wont be in it.

He should use his music to teach what he believes in.........doesnt mean he has to quit, to spread the word of islam he is in a better position than most being a rapper/artist.

Shame hes leaving, just when it seems he's got a vision.

The thing is Music is totally haraam in Islam, no matter what. It doesnt make a difference if its to spread Islam or not, its prohibited.

The Prophet Muhammed(P.B.U.H) said: "Music promotes and creates hypocricy in the heart"

If you study the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammed, the one common thing you will find from all the prophecies for the Day of Qiyaamat from the prophet is that he says Wine will be consumed and people will sing and dance.

In a Hadith the Prophet says: "O my sahabah to listen to music is a major crime and to sit in such a gathering where music is being played and people are singing is an open violation to the commandments of Allah. And to derive solice and pleasure and happiness and unwind and relax by listening to music is equal to disbelief and kufr. "

Another Hadith: "Allah has divinely commanded me that I destroy all musical instruments"

Check my site on the link and listen to the talk and Inshallah you will understand.
Link

Inshallah he stops with music soon, Inshallah his album doesnt even come out so he doesnt have to be questioned about it on the Day of Judgment. May Allah guide him, me and all of us and show us the right path.

Just provide the source, and how authentic it is. No where in the Qur'an is it said that Music is Haraam, and its not listed as one of major or sins either.

Napoleon's music is positive, how can it influence people to commit bad deeds? We're all accountable for our actions. Napoleon has the right intention in what hes doing, I dont think he should quit, he's needed man. He has inspired more people than he thinks.

The Hadith i have quoted are authentic, you can find them in Muslim, Tirmizi and some even in Bukhari. Yes it has a good influence but why play with fire? When the prophet has said such things about music and these are very few Hadith that i have quoted. Go listen to that Talk with the link on my previous post.

Ok, Im sure you're talking about this Hadith:

The Prophet said (which means), "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allaah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection." [Al-Bukhari Volume 7, Book 69, Number 494v]

^ What does that prove? "illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful." Let's take this in context now: This report is from the book of DRINKS by Sahih Bukhari. Every single report in it mentions DRINKING Alcohol!

Does this report in question specifically say that Musical instruments are forbidden? NO. All 4 are grouped together to illustrate a point that there will be people who will engage in all of those things as musical instruments are COMMONLY used IN CONJUNCTION by those who commit forbidden acts such as illegal sexual intercourse and drinking alcohol. Example: If you ever have been to a night club or bar...they ALWAYS have musical instruments playing. The hadith supports this fact even today.

Musical instruments can be used for good or bad. If they are used to promote a message filled with hate, violence, sex, profanity, drugs, alcohol, etc. then that USE is forbidden. If it is used to promote Islamic values, justice, and positivity, then that USE is lawful. Why is this so hard to understand? Don't blame the medium, blame it's application!

The Quran and Sunnah didn't even dedicate ONE verse to prohibit musical instruments. If it were so haram, why wouldn't it have been mentioned anywhere else in the Quran or Sunnah? Islam is clear. If it were forbidden it would say it somewhere CLEARLY.

Allah knows best.

Now you tell me, no offense but for half of the songs
that Napoleon has for the album that i have heard have
nothing about Islam. dont get me wrong im still with
Napoleon, i still talk to him and im still cool with
him and i support him in giving up music but a lot o
fthe songs have nothing to do with Islam.

Im sure you have heard the Hadith something to this
extent, im in teh office so i dont have time to find
the actual hadith but to this extent: "All forms of
entertainment are forbidden in this world but three
things: 1. to play with your bow and arrow for it
could help and train you for war 2. the riding of a
horse for the same reason, it could be of use in war.
3. the fondling with your wife for it is human nature
to satisfy their desires"

So music is also forbidden as a form of entertainment,
why must we listen to music when we have the Glorious
Quraan to listen to? So many different recitors which
beautiful voices. Im telling you after I memorized
teh Quraan, for 3 years all I did was listen to music,
2pac and the Outlawz mainly, even Napoleon with all
his new songs that "mentioned" Islam in a few places
and Alhamdulillah for the last 9 months i have only
listened to the Quraan. The difference is
unexplainable, before all had in my head were lyrics
of songs, yes most songs were promoting Islamic
values, justice, and positivity but none of them made
my Faith stronger, none of htem brought me closer to
Allah, it only took me farther away. Im telling you the peace that i have from listening to the Quraan is something else, before my mood and temper was horrible when i listened to music.

ILl right more but please brother, for Allah, go and listen to that Talk that, the link that i posted.

Brother, I'm not debating the recitation of the Qur'an to Rap Music, of course Id prefer the relevation of ALLAH then anything else, but Napoleon is/was not a Muslim rapper, he was a rapper that happened to wear the title of a Muslim. He didnt do Islamic rap. I dont rely on Napoleon's music to boost my faith, but I turn to Allah, Mutah is just a warner because thats a duty of a Muslim and he had the best intentions with his Music.

Insha'Allah I will start listening and reading the Qur'an more than I ever had, because it does indeed purify your heart and clears your mind.

I tried listening to the link you posted, but the speaker's voice is too irritating man, I almost fainted lol.

Regardless of what you believe, I hope Allah SWT guides us all to the path whom He has favored.

Just respect that Mutah is chosing to do what he knows and believes is right. Respect that instead of being so negative about the situation. Let's not turn this into a debate. If people feel that Mutah should leave his religion for music, that seems absurd and ridiculous. I don tknow about the fact that we can only entertain ourselves by doing the things the brother said were mentioned in the Hadith, but I know that Mutah has left music for something better...DONT HATE YA'LL!!! My advise to be to see why he did so for all the brothers and sisters who are or are not muslims.
