new mobb deep album - Bloody Money?

Why not google it? May 2nd is it's release date.

Songs leaked are good to average, nothing really bad.

Give It To Me [feat. Young Buck] is a solid song, directed to the ladies with a thug twist as expected. Buck comes nice with his.

It's Alright [feat. Mary J. Blige] is a smooth mellow song, a chillout blaze a spliff-to song. It's good, uses the same sample as "Tic Toc" which featured Nas & Prodigy from a few years back.

Pearly Gates [feat. 50 Cent] is their real first crack at a conceptual song it's about heaven, death, life and pain. It's a good song, mellow. P's verse is kinda contraversial but well hell.

Put Them In Their Place, I like this song. It's a street banger, a grimey single which not many artists would have the balls to push as their first official single. It's solid, nothing special but P's verse is one of his better in awhile.

Click [The Horror Flick], generic Mobb Deep dark-themed song. Decent, goes well bumping out the trunk. Not sure if it will make the final cut though. Doubtful.

The Infamous [feat. 50 Cent], Mobb's street single. Good song that uses the same sample as AZ's New York.

That's all Ive heard from them.

peace.

Nah here is a link to it, check it for yourself

http://www.sendspace.com/file/27kcwf

[note: DO NOT THINK THE ENTIRE ALBUM WILL BE LIKE THIS, THIS IS THE ONLY LADY TRACK ON THE ALBUM WITH THE EXCEPTION OF 'IT'S ALRIGHT" WHICH IS MORE A BLAZE IT UP SONG THAN ANYTHING]

peace.

M-O-B-B, beside Pac, is the reason why I started loving Hip-Hop. It's sad that I'm a witness of their downfall as many of you.
I'm disappointed with their move to G-Unit, P G-Unit tatoos, their new style, attitude 'whoever has beef with fiddy has beef with us', their beef with Littles...
Here are the Prodigy's thoughts (in two separate interviews) about people that supported them during the years...

BallerStatus.net: Going in, a lot of people thought that your move to G-Unit was good for the group, but there's also your hardcore fanbase that haven't been as supportive. What is your response to fans that have doubt that a Mobb Deep project from G-Unit will not be the same Mobb Deep as before?

Prodigy: If you a true hardcore fan of Mobb Deep, then you will love that we are over at G-Unit. Because now, your favorite group is all over the place -- all over TV, all over the radio, you know? We're at a really high point right now, so if they a fan...any fan of Mobb Deep would be really happy right now. If they not happy, then they ain't a real fan of Mobb Deep.
Dubcnn: What is your response and reaction to some of the disapproval that you have received from some of the older fans who were upset that you signed to G-Unit?

Well I’m saying that if they’re a fan of Mobb Deep then they can’t be upset, you know what I mean? If they are upset then they aren’t a fan of Mobb Deep because right now their favourite group is all over the TV, all over the radio – all over the place right now, touring everywhere, they get to see and hear more of their favourite group, so that doesn’t make sense for them to be upset, it’s like they are not a real fan.
Regarding all this I guess I'm not a Mobb Deep fan anymore but I'll keep bumping my Infamous Mobb Deep records while new generation of kids and some lames will be stucked with G-Unit Mobb...
Maybe the P and Hav didn't hear the words of their own song 'Kill That Nigga' and went to make business with famous snitch. Obiviously they choose money rather than respect. I guess you can call it 'Bloody Money' if you want...

"Gotta lot of love for any nigga getting money"

Half the people who say Mobb Deep are shit now they've signed with G-Unit haven't even heard the album. Haterism is now a recognised condition. Get in touch with a doctor, or speak to a specialist. I heard Raymondo Benzino has the number of a good 1.

BASED on what I've heard so far, the album doesn't look like it's going to impress. Should I be pleasantly suprised when it finally drops, my opinion will change.

....That's hardly haterism.

People have been moaning for months, before material leaked. That is.

I also posted before you, so no need to reply to me as I was obviously not refering to you.

From what I've seen from your posts so far, you are a very negative person with a chip on your shoulder. Should I be pleasantly suprised by your further posts, my opinion will change.

Pittsey is right. When they first signed Mobb Deep insantly became the worse group out.
Since they signed to G-Unit you can notl ike them as people or something which would be stupid but you can't hate on their music, not yet at least.

I'm positive about good hip hop. Perhaps it would be best to leave your wrongful assumptions of me and sarcasm at the door.

Just because I don't think Tupac has made classic album it doesn't mean I don't appreciate or laud good rap music. Perhaps you havent read all my posts.

Mobb Deep is and always will be the shit... The only album I thought of theirs that was just "ok" to me was Infamy.. so if you look at their track record, theirs no reason why yall shouldnt think its gonna be wack... All the tracks I heard on mixtapes that i assume are gonna be on the new album are pretty good.. Although I doubt it'll be as good as "Hell On Earth" (my fav)

The Dr. Dre produced, Sizzla featured Mobb Deep song "System" is a banger!. It's lurking around the net, if you find it DL it for sure.

peace.

On the production side of things it's ok and the chorus is kinda catchy but for me the lyrics are too wack to warrant it 'banger' status. Also, anyone else notice how Havoc's delivery seems to have got remarkably worse since they signed with G Unit?
