I didn't say anything about skin cells. I said it can repair damaged DNA, which is what starts cancer. It can repair it throughout the body, including the lungs. Of course, one shouldn't smoke. You're still taking a chance and it affects your body on all levels.
Plus, smoking produces tons of pus in your body and your mouth. You can literally drown in the stuff if you smoke enough.

Before anyone uses this against my own pus related disgust, I'd like to point out that we all have our own pus going round and round our body at all times and thus I have absolutely no problem with my own personal pus - only that of another species.

I actually didn't know that Prince was a vegetarian until after I became one, since he doesn't talk about it. He's not the kind of vegetarian that really makes a point of talking about it or anything like that.
If you are trying to insinuate that I am influenced by the morals of those I admire, you are looking in the wrong direction. My cousin and leader of the band is the one who is the P.E.T.A patriarch (he's actually on their sexiest vegetarians list this year where you can vote for different celebrities like Andre 3000 and Alicia Keys). If you'd like I can point you towards the advert he did promoting vegetarianism. If anything, he is the one that brought a lot of things to my attention.

Many vegetarians refuse to wear silk because of the large number of silkworms that are killed in the harvest.
Leather is a material created through the tanning of hides and skins of animals, primarily cattlehide.
But if you feel so strongly against killing animals for meat to eat, why would'nt you feel the same way about killing living things for fabrics for clothes?
Im honestly gonna try and find some rice milk tommorrow and see what it tastes like. Im curious.
