Your argument is completely flawed. Britney is far from one of my favorite artists, but as far as throwaway pop goes, Britney is in the big league whereas Lily Allen is barely on the fucking radar.

If you can give me ONE reason that Lily is better than Britney, you might have some credence here. But I don't think you can.

Well as much as I love Britney Spears I do question her ability to sing nowadays. We all knew she could sing, but nowadays? Lily Allen can sing compared to Britney Spears nowadays. And Lily Allen will never reach the pop star status Britney has achieved.

And I'm no fan of Lily, she's okay. I don't follow UK artists that much.

^^she sounds good on alot of her earlier songs. Now she seems to have taken a different direction with her music. I like her more recent stuff better but her singing skills are more evident on earlier songs.

and i agree with Casey. Im not a big fan of either but i like a lotof Britney's more recent songs. id listen to them when they come on the radio and yea she is way hotter than Lilly Allen. Lilly Allen isnt a good singer imo and so what if she writes her own songs? The lyrics are utter bullshit.

btw, we are talking about two totally different artists. If i was comparing Britney Spears to anyone it would be Madonna or Kylie Minogue

lily allen is quite funny. i just wish her tv show wasnt on when parents were around the room lol.

only song of hers i like is "the fear", its a good morning song. peaceful, calm, melodic and its a lot better than any of her other songs in my opinion.

i like morning music which gets you ready for the day.
