I never heard of TOO much protein before. But, I guess one can get too much of everything, right?
For those say, you feel light and stuff.
I eat meat (not by choice) I can't really afford food. I eat w/e my mom gives me right now...but I feel light.
Lately though, I've been getting more tired and shit. BUT i've been working out more too. Taking in Protein every other work out. (I tend to forget).
I seem to sleep and don't feel rested. Is that b/c of my diet change? (Note: I haven't been eating THAT much more meat, just a lil more than usual).
I do tend to drink water more than Soda, unless they give me a combo from, say, Burger King or something.
Working out should give you more energy.
How many times a week do you work out? Dont over do it, work out a split three day routine if you are bulking up.
It definitely is your diet. Food is our fuel, and the body performs based on the type of fuel you give it.
Im guessing because you rely on your parents cooking you eat two or three big meals a day right? This puts a toll on your body, and doesnt help with work outs either.
If you are running out of energy it means you arent eating enough of what you should be eating.
Try eating five smaller meals throughout the day, this is what the adult male should be eating.
Work out how much energy you burn on workout days and make sure to match it with your intake.
Just listen to your body, it knows what it needs. If you are hungry or out of energy, eat a high energy low fat meal, and aim to eat about 5 times a day. Smaller meals. It is so simple and it really works. If you eat a big dinner, split it into two meals separated by at least 2 hours. Have the veggies first, and the meat last if you are eating meat, as two separate meals.
Eat smaller meals throughout the day too, like some fruit, nuts, a can of tuna if you must eat meat, etc etc.
Soda isnt great for you, but drinking it wont kill you. People put too much emphasis on Soda being bad. Yes, drink a lot of water, ESPECIALLY if you work out (and even more so if you use creatine which I recommend). Soda just makes you fat. But you can function and have energy on it, and you can burn that fat off if you are active so dont stress over a glass a day its no big deal.
I guarantee if you do this you will feel better instantly.
If you are working out, get a good tri-creatine into you. With Tri-Creatine you dont need to load and so it wont kill your liver. Just take your dose 30 mins before working out, and instantly after with a high sugar drink for quicker absorption, and then first thing in the morning with a protein powder the next morning. FIRST THING, it is when your body needs it most.
But yes, if you lack energy, you're not eating enough. Eat more often, smaller meals, and you'll feel great again. Ive recently been doing this and wow the difference is amazing.
When I gave up meat I felt so much better, but now it feels normal because I am used to it, but now eating 5 smaller meals a day makes me feel so much better too.
