No. I haven't seen the movie yet but know there isn't gonna be a sequel. Hence why it's called 'The Last Stand.

I can't wait to see this.
The actors themselves have said that "The Last Stand" doesn't imply towards the film being the last in the series. They have said it most likely will be the last, but it's not set in stone yet. And as far as there is still movie to be made....im pretty sure it wont be the last.

Spoilers Below.......................................................

First off i thought it was fucking awesome that they threw in the "Juggernaut Bitch" I was like OHHHHH SHIT!!

with Scott being the true leader of the Xmen it kind of sucked that he died so early because i would have loved to see him on Alcatraz leading the Xmen and kicking ass.

I didnt like how they made Juggernaut a mutant. Because he isnt and i didnt like how they didnt acknowledge the relation between Prof. X and Juggs. I was shocked that Mystique got hit with the cure so early in the film.

Also the Pheonix thing was kind of fucked up because the pheonix isnt a split personality its an alien life force that takes over Jean.

ANYWAY

i THOUGHT X3 KICKED ASS!!

heres fields official x-men III movie review -

pretty cool movie over all. they crammed like 50 charactors into scenes that if you blink, you miss them. Cyclops gets no love, and Angel is a total fag. in fact the kid that was in punisher, that had all the earrings pulled out of his face- is angel..and he is still gay. really gay. beast through out the movie looks just like a guy in a suit. it has nothing on nightcrawler-but in the fight scene beast makes up for it.
alot of people are mad that phoenix didnt actually have the red bird around her when she got powered up, but it wasnt necessary because everything else about her and her effect is there...the bird would have actually been way more confusing to casual fans and kind of corny...

jugger naut is the all star and magneto is a super pimp for what he does to mystic..it's better than xmen but falls short of part two in comparison, but it's worth watchin in the movies...

This movie left the story open for the Age of Apocalypse and only the Age of Apocalypse. The deaths were significant for the storyline to head in that direction even if they werent step for step like the comic was drawn/written.

But yeah, it's almost as if the director/producers/writers were reading the Age of Apocalypse comics when he planned out the movie. I liked it.

Again the story is open for the Age of Apocalypse if they choose to go with it.

peace.

I Seen the Matinee, It was Off the hook. Great film. I liked the part when Magneto used his powers an moved the Golden Gate bridge over to Alcatraz.

Rogue took the cure because she wanted to be in love an kiss her boyfriend.

The ending was Magento sitting in the Park playing chess by himself an he took his finger to see if he could move the Metal chess piece.

welp the secret ending is a twist on one of the deaths in the movie. i wont ruin it for you because it 's kind of the weight of the flick.

but i'd like to know how this relates to age of apocolypes? it's similar to the legency virus but i cant remember all the details

Some people are confused about the ending and when it actually is. The actual end of the movie is AFTER the credits, not when Magneto is playing chess.

But yeah, I saw the midnight show yesterday and wound up going again at 5:30 that same day, so I've already seen it twice. It's a really depressing way to end the series if they decide to no longer create any more films. But shit, it was a helluva movie :thumb:

Xavier doesn't die. Most people didn't bother to stay after the entire credts rolled by. An earlier mention of mutant minds taking over living, brain-dead bodies is put to the test when Xavier's mind survives his physical death only to place his consciousness into the same brain-dead body mentioned earlier in the film.

"Hello Moira."

"CHARLES?"

Can anyone say ONSLAUGHT!?

I was one of them  .

This pisses me off, I mean come on, what are the odds that people will sit there watching through the credits just like that....

well i can see that they are leaving the door open for the magneto movie, which is based on mag's adventures with the nazi's- and wolverine obviously.

but 'juggernaut' actor vinnie jones also mentioned he is contracted for xmen 4 and 5. this can lead into 'days of future past' or 'age of apacolypes' (sp ) but one way or another the will not stop with these flicks since they are a cash cow. between box office revenue and toy endorsements, this isnt the 'last stand'
