OK... I can't remember what the dudes name was, but some guy in the 50/Puff thread was just talking about how Suge is a "real threat". I don't deny Suge has his reputation. But, the question is... is Suge really a threat? Or is he just someone that knows how to bluff real well and only really goes after people he knows are weaker than him? Case in point...
Last year during the Anger Management 3 tour, while the Shady labelmates were in LV doing a show, apparently, Trick Trick and Proof ran into big Suge at the Black Jack table in the casino. Here's how Trick tells the story:
"We been up all night, partying like a motha because Paul Rosenberg hosted a Shade 45 party the night before and Kid Rock was in town and DJed for us that night. So... it's 10am, I'm weeded out like a mofo and Kid Rock was serving up Jim Beam, so my eyes was cocked like a pistol. It's 10am and the parties in the rooms we had were windin down so I hit the casino. Soon as I hit the floor, one of my Runyon Ave soldiers came up to me and said "Suge is at the black jack table"... without even thinking I just belted out a "fuck Suge" and kept walking. But... eventually I ended up hittin that black jack table cuz aint nothing else was keepin my attention. So, I walk up to the table that Suge's at and put my cash down for some gambling. With no hesitation, the 6'3 tower of red from Compton and the 6'3 tower of blue from Detroit had a stare down for a good 10 seconds. Neither of us said a word and just waited to see what the other would do. Suge summoned some of his bloods over to the table. At this point, I didn't know if this was going to be a calm meeting or of the black jack table was gonna turn into the wild wild west right there. But, at that time, Suge opted to stay calm.
Next thing I know... the big man from the row extended his hand out to me and we shook, I guess it wasn't gonna go down like that, at least not today.
Then, outta nowhere, my dogg Proof, drunk as a mothafucka off that same Jim Beam Kid Rock gave me, comes stumbling up to the table, puts his hand on my shoulder, shoves himself in between myself and Suge, looks at Suge and just lets out a big "fuck you, nigga". At that point... I was ready to throw down because I didn't know how Suge was gonna take that kind of disrespect in public. As we all know, he ain't one that's known for being humble. But, Proof is my dogg from way back, so I'ma have his back forever. But, instead of us throwin down some real gangsta shit, them anger management classes must be working, cuz Suge just shrugged Proof off and walked away."
