Have you been on this board very long? Just wondering because this 'hip hop is dead' has been said so many times and so many years before Nas even released God's Son. Anyway I think this is a great idea for a thread, kinda what I've been tryina say in threads that complain about the state of hip hop.

I grew up on it too, and no I wont be following you. Theres enough underground Hip-hop and old school tracks to keep me forever please dont try and tell other board members "what they will have to deal with" becuase everybody has different taste and it seems the slogan these days is when the going gets tuff, blame hip-hop.

i understand, im not sayin dont listen to good hip hop cause some people fucked it up. Yeh theres still people out there, you just gotta look. But as a whole its going no where...

I love his persona he's a funny ass guy who hates the music industry and his style of rap is unique which is refreshing these days. He hasn't come out with a CD since 2000, but he is on Nov. 7th, Everready: The Religion will be out, i cannot wait to cop this..

Check out the website, listen to some songs watch the "Einstein" video that he does live, that song is just amazing in concert.
