yupe

this album is good. its what we expect of game, its not any different compare to his last two, but thats not a negative, because it looks like Game isnt going to Drop out soon, like other rappers that only made one good album and dissapeared.

am going to be very dissapointed if this is the last game album.

ehhhh, on first few listens this is his worst album. game's never been a great rapper, but he's always been tolerable. i've never been one to complain about his constant name-dropping and obvious insecurity issues/personality disorders, because i usually find it entertaining, yet on this album i find it too much. he's yet again rapping about the same shit in slightly different ways and he fucks up his delivery noticeably a few times throughout.

the thing i hate most is that he tries to suck the dick of whichever big name rapper he's on the track with. i hate how with the song with raekwon he tries to match his flow and drops wu references in his verse. he even calls the song "bulletproof diaries". he does the same thing on the tracks with cube, nas, and luda. and the pac/biggie/eazye track is cringeworthy.

anyone else feel the same way?

i see where your coming from with your comments. but i dont see it as him dick riding,
i just think he respects and loves hip hop and is a major fan of hip hop artist.

he just pays homage to those he respects highly,. we can tell he really pays attention to other rappers lyrics and picks up on those on his albums, i just see it as another form of rapping. i can see how some ppl may feel fed up with it, but i respect what he is doing.

i see what you mean, and i'm all for paying homage to guys like raekwon, common, etc. but i feel that inviting them as guest collaborators on a highly promoted mainstream album is homage enough, without sucking up to them as well. it's not a huge deal as the songs aren't unbearable, but it seems like i'm hearing a guy trying to sound like raekwon feat. raekwon. what made outkast's "skew it ont he bar-b" (ft/ raekwon) dope to me was the contrast in styles, yet you still get the impression outkast respect him and pay homage to him by having him on their album.
