Isn't the Camry and Accord built in the US? As are many Hyundais and Kias?

I know the BMWs built in Spartanburg, SC have always been shit and broke down easily. Americans get pissed when a Mexican takes their job, abut when they have a job they don't want to do it right either. They complain about health benefits and all that fucking coonshit.

Also I reckon the us is a pretty huge market for foreign manufacturers so I'm not sure why Pitts is menstruating lately. Lol

LOL

They sound very intelligent. Where do you work?

That's my daytime job in a legal firm. That girl is not stupid, she's just clueless when it comes to tech and she's being a little ignorant there. She owns and Mac, an iPod, and no Android device so obviously she's favouring Apple devices.

The muscle car is all that is wrong with american cars, they suck

Nah, man. They were great. Not amazingly built, but stupid and fun. Look at the cars that were made for the last 10 years. None of them are fun and stupid, nor are they reliable and economic.

I'm not. My point is valid. I also don't have a problem with it. All countries should support local businesses. But.... American Engineering is pretty poor on the whole. Before anyone lists examples, there are exceptions, such as Boeing...

Do you own any Apple devices?

You really don't think American auto manufacturers are making leaps and bounds since their bailouts? I mean, it sucks that that's what it took to get them off their asses, but I think GM and Ford are really stepping their game up. Cadillac is targetting BMW, Buick is after Lexus, and Ford is after Toyota and Honda, and maybe even Nissan. And performance and fuel efficiency-wise, I think they are almost on-par. Pricing might be the only issue, but those $15,000 Kias you see would kill everyone in the car if it hit a park bench going 15mph. Their build quality isn't quite the same.

I don't know actually. Because we don't have any American cars on the roads here. I am more likely to see a 69 Mustang than any American cars from the last 20 years. We drive on the other side of the road to you, so your cars aren't suited here.

If they are improving, and they make right hand drive models, I am sure that we will start seeing them here. First things first though, the handling will need improving as our roads are nowhere near as nice or as straight as yours.

It is very true that American manufacturers have stepped their game up. They're making much better quality cars and it all started with that bailout that Jesus hates. In the past for instance someone like Ford would use a single powertrain and use it across their entire lineup of cars, slap some mediocre looking no thought using body on it and call it a day. Now their developing whole cars and you see it in their cars now. They still share some components cus it's highly cost effective but it's not as bad as it was. I do think Ford did slip up with the new electric version of the Ford Focus. Instead of designing it from the ground up they just took the fuel powered Focus and put a bunch of batteries in the trunk and it pretty much cancels out it's hatchback functionality. Anywaaaaay. I wish we saw more Android in cars... I really want to buy a Nexus 7 and custom fit it in my dash

Galaxy Note 2 is fucking awesome. Gonna get one for my girl. She's been wanting the original Note, I told her to wait. Exynos quad core running at 1.6Ghz and with 2GB of RAM!!!! Hell yeah.

Also, Apple just agreed to pay Google to license Motorola's patents.

Next move...... Google licenses the Moto patents to Samsung? :D

It's only in Germany though right?

I don't see how this would help Samsung too much

Only in Germany....for now. Moto has those patents everywhere. Only a matter of time.

If Google offer Samsung the usage of those patents then Apple would have to pay Samsung for every unit sold.

Just installed CM10 on my S2. Nice to bring the phone up to speed with my Nexus 7 :)

Those are Moto's patents. The only way Apple would have to pay Samsung is if they bought them from Moto. Licensing the patents to Samsung wouldn't do anything. That's my understanding at least.

Now, I can definitely see Google gifting those patents to Samsung but even then I think Samsung would just get paid and not take any good legal action.
