11/12 Premier League thread

Poor result and performance. Glad Hernandez scored, I feel he should be a starter over Rooney, who once again did nothing and looks like hes running through sand sometimes. Liverpool played great though, Suarez is a real handful and Kuyt played well also. I don't think any United players played well.

Sell Carrick.

i never rated Carrick. he was better a couple of seasons ago but i always felt the players around him made him look better.

pity we conceded at the end. i was greedy and wanted 3-0 : P

i know Kuyt's goals were all easy and he stole one off Suarez but he is always quick to react to these kind of situations.

it just shows the difference a bit of class can make to a team. shame that asshole Torres fucked off though. him and suarez would have been really good imo. Hopefully Carroll can do well with him too though.

Great result for Liverpool and for Arsenal.

Only caught the highlights but Suarez looked excellent

i have no faith in Arsenal capitalising on anything after yesterday. but then again they were missing 3 key players. their main defender, midfielder and striker. i.e Vermaelen, Fabregas and Van Persie.

great performance by liverpool today, suarez especially.

i think villa under MON looked a more attacking side than the current one now. its only because we have more attacking players in midfield since agbonlahor has been brought into it and bent left up there on his own. makes it look like there's more attacking options. notice how young, downing, albrighton are in the midfield and agbonlahor on the bench who comes on as a winger.

Nani's injury. Looks like hes out for 6-8 weeks with a fractured bone. :(

I'm not sure of the fracture, that was just what a few people were saying. It was a shocking challenge though, only Ray Wilkins seemed to really mention it. Rafael was lucky also with his recklessness.

the referee booked him for it so im pretty sure thats it. nothing else can be done.

there is no doubt that it should have been a red though. i dont think anyone can disagree on that.

^^

Not really.

He had a few glimpses of pace and a couple of attempts of close control. But ultimately looks nothing like himself.

A couple of times the old Torres would have gone direct at pace and twisting the defender onto his backside. But instead he held the ball up, went wide and tried to get a cross in.

Yeah, and when I think that a 'Pool player should have been sent off, I'm not a Liverpool fan? :P
