Aye, he's not that bad on the ball. Has some skill. Ofc he's no virtuoso, but for a powerplay holding midfielder, you're not shitting yourself three colours of shite everytime he's on the ball.

he was very good too. for his first game back. he is awful strong and fit.

Lucas was excellent today. I've slated him in the past but he played very well today.

Was glad to see Torres back to form. He's one of my favourite players in the world when he's on top form.

Missed the second half due to dinner, didn't see Lucas much, but I wasn't paying much attention to him either.

Pool was pretty good at times, they even looked like they had fun again, lol.

And Torres' second goal was stellar.

when the ball was played through to torres, i had that feeling that he'd turn on the inside and shoot. i had that feeling, as you do with torres. he is class and is on poor form. as much as i dislike liverpool and making fun out of two of my friends (both girls who are huge liverpool fans and kinda surprisingly know about their club more than most male liverpool fans i know, so i guess they are passionate and hate it when i tease them about their club - in a banter way), ive got to say i love to see torres banging in the goals at any level.

good win for liverpool and newcastle today. all the results went the wrong way for me... oh well.

great save by cech near the end, also reina was lucky to keep a clean sheet. and i hate it when teams push for their first goal towards the 80 minute mark after having a lacklustre 70 mins. if its a 1-0 deficit then fair enough, but when you're 2 or more goals down.......

i just started supporting Liverpool because they were the team i liked to watch most back in the mid 90s and one of my cousins also supported them and i guess i sort of looked up to him back then.i loved watching Liverpool play, the players they had and the ground and atmosphere. not really sure why my brother supports Newcastle. they were just the team he liked the most when he first started watching football. they were a really great side to watch back then.
