Spurs really fell flat on their asses this morning.

Crouch played a full 90 minutes again and he was awful. Pavyluchenko on the bench and comes and scores a cracker. Bolton played very well. Lee was class. that Holden is good player too.

good result for bolton, everton couldve beaten blackpool, so i guess its a good result for blackpool.

he's been quite lazy for us... he's meant to be a box-to-box midfielder. ive always said give sidwell a chance. even NRC gives his all.

did Ireland play badly today then? i will have to watch the highlights later.

keeping a clean sheet is something villa are really struggling to do. if we can do that then we wont be dropping so many points. a few years ago our attack was third best, joint first and second best for most of that season. things have changed since then and we are struggling to score too. yes heskey has chipped in with a few goals, but he's scored like 104 club career goals since 1994 - in 16 years. thats an average of 6.5 goals a season and he's scored like 3 or 4 already. i say play carew instead of him. but carew needs to sort his laziness out, and then as always we need another forward.

even Nigel Reo-Coker is out for about 3 weeks with a medial knee ligament injury for goodness sake!! Bannan has been outstanding - he should start a game or two now unless Houllier plays Sidwell and Ireland down the middle.

Ah, he did well? I'm not surprised, good player, very well suited for the English leagues.

I would've liked to have kept him at Twente this season, but he wanted to go, unfortunately.

My brother is a Newcastle fan and they really rate Tiote. he has done very well. wasnt it something like 3 million he cost? we could have got him instead of Poulsen.
