but thing is Lucas has been playing ok. He made a mistake against Villa but so did Gerrard, Reina and whoever got beaten to that header by Davies. Torres i think. that doesnt help him develop as a player either.

anyone over on RAWK (Liverpool message board) who suggest that Benitez should be sacked usually gets a load of abuse. What would be the point is sacking him anyway? who would we get as a replacement considering that we appear to be broke? and players like Torres might leave.

I know Benitez has made some mistakes but id prefer him to stay in charge of Liverpool.
