On another forum I am defending Wenger. About half dozen posters have decided that he needs to go. That he was never a good manager, and they they could have achieved with Arsenal and the players he had.

What Arsenal players deserved to be sent off ? Most of them deserved their bookings and a few were probably lucky to escape without a card but i can't remember any of them deserving to be sent off. They 2 lucky players to stay on were Fletcher and Ferdinand (even if he was claiming it was an accident).

im pretty sure even a little shove on the referee is a sending off offence. and it wasnt just that. he was shouting right into his face as well. it was after they didnt get a penalty or something. that said, it should have been a penalty. the other one wasnt though. it was an accident.
