.Training Day (Too many favorite roles that Denzel have excelled in and made historic and importantly memorable: Glory, Malcolm X, Mo' Better Blues, He Got Game, and so forth...but this character was the epitome of how bad guys are supposed to be portrayed on film, and how the right actor can bring that relentless bastard to life on camera, and Mr. Denzel Washington did like no other could have thought of doing it, classic!)
.Poetic Justice (Janet Jackson was more than exceptional and back then I enjoyed her more than now though, and of course of Tupac the actor as he stated in "Resurrection" he felt he was good but not professional, but I will admit "Juice" was his best performance on-screen though he was phenomenonal in all his films, but Poetic was that first glance at his pure & sensitive side and he shined as always...fuckin' love it "[Cuttin' Pete]" What's your name kinfolk? [Tupac] Lucky...so kinfolk what's your name? Cuttin' Pete, [Tupac: Cuttin' Pete?], Cuttin' Pete?, too damn dope!)
.Purple Rain (Yes the artist himself, I love Prince's music he's a fuckin' legend as we all know, won't lie though he wasn't the best actor seeing as Morris Day who's a damn fool stole a shitload of scenes, but Prince did his damn thang and Apollonia was fine as fuck and cute on the eye, and Clarence Williams III was superb as well as in other films!)
.Menace II Society (Classic gangsta' flick, Larenze Tate if cool with me but he's more in-tune with his sensitivity nowadays, but he wrecked it with his performance, and Kane was a great addition to the film!)
.Higher Learning (Fuckin' great movie, "Crash" somewhat follows in it's footsteps!)
.Set it Off (Dope ass film, with the ladies bucking to get theirs and holding down the fort!)
.The Player's Club (Perfect flick about a stripper wanting to get out the game, with all the immoral pleasures that can be witnessed along with it!)
.I Like It Like That (I used to watch the movie all the time on Cinemax, but haven't seen it in years, anyways it stars Lauren Valez the fine ass Latino nurse from the former HBO series "Oz", the movie was dope!)
.8 Seconds (Luke Perry gave a great performance as fallen cowboy legend throughout the world/industry of Bullriding Lane Frost, and I absolutely love this movie!)
.Road House (Patrick Swayze's best film!)
Also...Jason's Lyric, Forest Gump, King of New York, Carlito's Way, Belly, How to Be a Player, Coming to America, Juice, Gridlock'd, and many many more!
