I never understood why ppl liked SeVen so much. It's gruesome and depressing. Once you've seen it, you've seen it. It's not like there's anything in there you want to see over and over again, like, say, Scarface.

Can anyone who liked it tell me why?

I agree it's not the type of movie you can watch over and over again, but I liked it. It was smart, the acting was great. Wouldn't put it in my Top 10, but I enjoyed it.

seven is an awesome movie. You are right, it's sick, but the acting is top notch, and the twist at the end is so unexpected, that's what made it great

Let's see 10 of your favs. Put it up.
I hate doing these things. I tend to forget every movie I've ever seen as soon as I sit down to think about it.

Bear in mind that there are countless classic, must-see movies that I haven't seen.

In no particular order.

Top 10:
Fight Club
Annie Hall
Panic Room
American Beauty
This Is Spinal Tap
Almost Famous
Devil's Advocate
Kill Bill
Pulp Fiction
Taxi Driver

Not-Quite-Top 10:
High Fidelity
Life
X-Men 2
Serenity
Sin City
Spirited Away
Bugsy Malone
American Splendor
Ghost Town
Safety of Objects

Good list. The only ones on there I don't like that much are Taxi Driver and Kill Bill. Haven't seen Safety of Objects and I don't see myself seeing it. Spirited Away, liked the animation but found myself bored throughout. I think his best movies are Princess Mononoke and Porco Rosso. My favs on ur list: Annie Hall, High Fidelity, X-Men 2, Fight Club, Amer. Beauty.

Bugsy Malone, that's different.

Training Day

Dawn Of The Dead (new one)
Jarhead
Saw and Saw 2
Just Friends

Not in order... top 3 would have to be Amityville Horror, Dawn of the Dead, and Jay and Silent Bob

Eh, look. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Everybody is also entitled to be an asshole. Just cuz you didn't like the movie doesn't everybody in the world should.

Anyways, looks like you like a lot of boring action movies.

Scarface is a fuckin great movie!! To me its a myth to say people in hip hop have an obsession with it. The movie came out and was watched by millions of people in 1984, its a classic movie, im pretty sure country/rock/indie fans all over the world who have watched it 30 times since 1984 all talk about it, not just rap stars or fans.
