Some of you are too cynical.

It doesn't need to be a credulity contest, but I see no reason not to believe it. It appears the U.S. is holding photos of his body and a video of his burial. Even that stuff wouldn't convince some of you, because conspiracies are fun to think about.

You're right it wouldn't convince me. And I am surprised you don't question it, seems I over estimated you.

Bin Laden was very active in his caves releasing extremist propaganda and taunting the USA for a few years after 9/11. Then it all stopped suddenly. Some say he died of kidney failure. Which wouldn't have been a win for the USA, and would have given weight to those who thought the invasion of Iraq was unjust.

I am not saying I think he died in 2003. Because I am not sure. All I know is that this just doesn't ring true. It's not even like the governments bother trying to hide their true intentions any longer. Just feed us a few lines of transparent bullshit and expect us to take it as gospel. There are so many inconsistencies in the story that I just can't believe it. If that makes me a mad conspiricist, then I guess that's what I am.

Not at all. I feel embarrassed for a lot of you. Especially those who weren't born in the USA but would gladly swallow it's semen. We mock the middle east for burning the American flag and effigies of Bush and Blair for showing how third world they are. But then a few thousand do the same at Ground Zero.

I am not an American hater, I put the British government on at least par for bad intentions. But show some dignity.

The quote, although a bit gay, made sense. I am not a liberal. I eat meat, I'm not a pussy. It's just the celebration of Osama's death achieved nothing. A bit like his death all over. It is meaningless. It isn't a win. The war on terror isn't over. It's a political chess move that has ensured Barrack Obama another 4 years in office.

I don't really feel the need to debate this any longer. You have your opinions, I have a lack of conviction in the story I am told.

In no way has this ensured Obama's re-election. At the end of the day, people are going to vote based on the economy and price of gas.

I have no idea what you're rambling about but I am inclined to respond. Not now, a bit later. I haven't been following your back-and-forth with that troll guy. All I pointed out was that you quoted a misquoted quote. MLK never uttered the first sentence.

Thats what people said when Reagan ran against Carter (regarding the hostages in Iran). Oddly the hostages got released within 30mins of Reagan's inaugural address. Then it was revealed that Bush Sr dealt with the Iranians secretly to ensure Reagan's reelection.

But, if this was an Obama tactic its pretty stupid to play this card so early

It's funny that this might get him re elected. It's even funnier that gas prices, something he has absolutely nothing do with, might not.

tupac4li4e, you sound like a lunatic. There's a fine line between healthy doubt and outright rejection of everything you hear. Do you have to be physically present for an event in order to believe it?

i dont think you were around the last time tupac4li4e was around. i suggest you do a seach for his part posts and thread lol

Find me a post where I applauded celebrations of Osama's death. I said you're stupid because you used a fictional quote lol. If I were to choose a quote to describe the situation, I would choose this one:

"All men have an emotion to kill; when they strongly dislike some one they involuntarily wish he was dead. I have never killed any one, but I have read some obituary notices with great satisfaction.

Personally, I didn't cheer Osama's death. When I heard the news, I didn't even have any sort of emotional response to it. My reaction was formulated after I saw other people's reactions. Most people fell in three categories. There were those who were ecstatic and would have been parading in front of the White House had they not lived on the West Coast. There were those who immediately went into "conspiracy mode" like...YOU. Then, there were those who were dismissing the significance of the event.

After processing the whole event, I do feel a bit better knowing that a man responsible for the death of thousands of civilians isn't able to plot evil deeds anymore. However, I don't feel better knowing a human being is dead.

Don't forget those that saved 15% or more by switching to geico

My response wasn't completely to you. And I got what you were saying. But no I am not embarrassed to have slightly misquoted MLK. The sentiment was the point.

I never said you did cheer. I was addressing the thread. I haven't bought into any conspiracy theory, show me that post... Nor have I bought into what is coming from The White House. All I have said is that the "facts" don't make sense. There is definitely something amiss.

As for Obama being responsible for these 1000's of lives. Is this really the case? Did he ever claim responsibility? Can we hold one man responsible? Just like assassinating Barrack Obama wouldn't end the USA, killing Osama Bin Laden will not end Al Qaeda. This isn't the victory that America seems to think it is.

Yes, he did. Not in a "Hi Americans, I killed you" but in a video where he describes how the planes will hit the towers and what the damage will be. Look it up.

And I agree, this is not a big victory in terms of ending terrorism. America doesn't think so either. If America did, they wouldn't beef up security and alert all US citizens to not travel abroad unless they have to.

In other words, you're talking out of your ass. :D
That is your debate? I can type random statements as well, that doesn't change the lack of consitency in the facts.

1. If OBL was killed recently how do you explain his silence for the last 8 years when he was so vocal after 9/11?

2. Why did the US army parade the bodies of Saddam's sons to the press, yet keep OBL's body under wraps?

3. Why bury him at sea within 24hours to satisfy his muslim beliefs? Were the Hussein boys muslim beliefs less important?

4. Are you seriously telling me they could find Saddam Hussein in a hole in the desert within a year, and they couldn't find OBL in a 3 story house for 6 years? Even with 15 Million quid on his head?

5. Navy seals aren't capable of disabling an unarmed man without shooting him in the head?

I am not saying I 100% disbelieve or that I believe any of the conspiracy theories. Nor am I saying he didn't deserve to die, although that isn't mine or America's call. There is a place called the Hague which would have made that decision. That is how justice works. I also feel he would have been more valuable alive.

I cannot help questioning the "facts".

And oh my god guys when you add it up, Bin Laden released EXACTLY 77 tapes! And he did it every 7 months! And Bin Laden was only ONE guy, and ONE goes into SEVENTY-SEVEN how many times??? SEVENTY-SEVEN.

HOLY SHIT. He's coming back in seven years.
