would they not have wanted him alive to get information out of him or to put him on trial.
To be fair he knew too much to be kept alive, if it was really him that they captured. They said that orders were to kill him, not capture him. Americans love having a single person responsible for all evil. Even if it's obviously not that simple. If it's all politics.
And if the whole story is true really then Americans should be proud of putting many American lives in danger. Because if Osama really was a head and mastermind behind "a powerful terrorist organization" then it's pretty obvious that they will want revenge, a big one. You know, most big terrorist organizations function perfectly fine without a former president, it changes close to nothing for them except sounding good on paper and pissing off the rest of them.
Now Osama was smart, he was pro-American, a former friend of powerful American families, including the president. Since he's dead it can only get worse from here. Now since American government is not that stupid the story is very, very fishy.
Now there are far too many questions without answers. A perfect situation for America to make up a story to cover it all.
And my previous comment perhaps seemed offensive but really many Americans are acting very weird about that situation. The whole Bin Laden chase thing looked pretty ridiculous.. or unbelievable from here. I couldn't believe how everyone turned on him without asking questions and it was like everyone wanted to sacrifice hundreds of lives just to get that guy, like it would do any good.
