Ashley Cole is World Class too.

I wouldn't say Duff is world class although he is a very great player.

Rooney is no doubt world class and was an easy choice. Rio is better than John. He does more than play well he leads and organises. Unless you've played at a high level you won't notice it. But just check both Leeds and Man U's defensive records with and without him.

Gerrard is better than lampard, and he is world class. Lampard isn't .. yet. But if he keeps improving he will be. Neither is a touch on Ballack though.


What do people measure world class in? Goals.


Roy Keane was, but is too old now. Scholes is/was. He seems to have taken too many steps backwards.

a world class is a player who constantly performs 2 his maximum in every game, and rarely drops form. like i said, its not a player who does little tricks or showboats all of the time. and world class players arent allways the ones who grab the headlines.

therefore 2 say giggs is world class is debatable, gary neville has more of a shout 2 be called world class than giggs, purely because giggs will have a few good games and then the next few games he'll go missing. im not doubting giggs ability. but people allways overlook the unfancied player like neville, just like makelele.

name me a better right back(apart from cafu) who continues 2 perform consitantly well at any level then neville.

when neville retires from the england setup and leaves united, only then people will sit up and realise that neville was actually a world class right back.

On the topic of Ashley Cole, I don't rate him as world class. I can't really think of a left back I'd rate as better but I still don't think he meets the standard.

I havent seen much games most of them play so i cant really say whether they are world class or not. but i have heard of some of them and know they popular worldwide Adams,Robson,Charlton,Lineker and and of course shearer.
