Do You Expect ...

... eminem to come out with a track on Relapse 2 aimed at micheal jackson?

it's still early doors with Relapse 2 set to be released in the fourth quarter of this year, i expect em to come out with at least one funny jibe at the king of pop on the follow up to Relapse

idk what do you think, he did it to christopher reeve 2 times over, i don't see Relapse 2 goin' down without a jibe at MJ. knowing the way em thinks, he's the perfect candidate to poke fun at any celebrity, i bet right now he's formulating metaphors on micheal jacksons accord

can't wait for Relapse 2

^^word.. to be honest I hated Relapse, shit was ridiculously stupid imo. I cant hate on ppl for liking it, cuz I know exactly what they love about it. But its just not my shit. That album right now is up for 'biggest disappointment of 2009' in my books. The only track I kinda liked was Beautiful, and that wasnt great either, shit was sorta corny.

i thought parts of relapse was sick in certain contexts, i come to expect em's no-holds-barred style as standard now and i expect MJ to slip from em's lips once again, just cos he's gone isn't gonna disuade eminem from making him a subject or target of his raps

I hope theres no jabs and comedy on the album full stop. Or at least very very limited. I want a MMLP type record.
I think you're going off of impressions of that album, because that album has a BUNCH of "jabs" and general comedy.

"hey it's me; Versace, look, somebody got me,
and i was just checking the mail,
get it? - checking the "male""

MMLP is a dark album and reflects what em had been through and wished to express at that time, Relapse is the same but different, it's still em expressing a dark and personal side of himself and others in a masochistic-humour type of way. em is making art through his raps of bad episodes of both his life and that of others, its just that he transforms it to come across through a good natured and entertaining context

how was relapse a waste of time? it got him back onto the scene again didnt it?
Well, it served its purpose.

Guess it's me. I don't think it measures up to the earlier albums. He's one of the greats, I'll be the first to admit that, but to me he's been uninspired since The Eminem Show, which was the last one I listened to more than a few times.

Relapse got old quick. I would prefer Relapse 2 to be something like the Eminem Show.

I actually would say Encore and Relapse are about the same in quality, which isn't that high obviously.

^Encore had Mockingbird and a few other songs.

Those few other songs > relapse.

At first, i felt the other way around but the replay value of that cd sucks!

EDIT: To answer the question, I actually don't expect him to make fun of him. I'm hoping that he will change his formula this next album.

Yeah, i hope he makes fun of michael jackson and i'll be very surprised if relapse two comes out within the next year.

@ everyone. were never gonne get another SSLP or MMLP, rap is too one dimensional for that, so i don't know why you people are hoping for that.

I hope relapse 2 comes out this year and is better than relapse. One can only hope.

How many somgs do you think will be on relapse 2?

He still has a lot to talk about...addictions, losing Proof, maybe even referring to falling out with Game.

He can still make good shit, it's like he isn't focusing on rap and just wanting people to feel sorry for him in any song where he isn't being silly.
Stop pouting about being rich, Pac never pouted about it. Make something controversial or something meaningful, but stop bitching and stop playing around.
