Its true these lists are utter bullshit. Its all just fuckin opinions, and everyone will have different lists. But to me its as if he just aimed at the pioneers to make it a controversial issue. If he aimed at dudes like Mims and Souljah Boy and shit, dudes woulda just agreed with him and that woulda been the end of that.

either ways it doesnt matter to me, Meth and Budden are both dope. Their styles vary too much to logically compare the two. Unless you break it down into further subsections (ie, flow, delivery, charisma, metaphors/similes, wordplay, lyrical content, vocab, emotion, etc.) And at the end of the day it boils down to personal preference, like which of those really matter to you when you listen to a song or an artist

No theres not but I still find it pretty funny an established rapper gets so upset over something like this. I hate the way some people have to rip other's apart to make themselves feel better. Why he felt he had to make Mele Mel and Meth seem irrelevant to make his point I do not know, besides what others said.. He's an attention whore.

I bet from time to time you, well, get angry about other people opinions even though you dont even know them personally and you could care less what they think/say. But sometimes it just gets to you that some people have retarded opinions and thats when you just have to vent.

Yeh ofcourse i do. But this situation is different. The opinion offered by the magazine was not intended in a malicious or insulting way. If someone offers an opinion of me that i consider insulting, example, "your sense of humour is lame", then that would give rise to a response from me.

but if someone said "you're up there, but this guy is funnier", then how can i argue that? it's not intended in a malicious way. what, am i gonna bitch about me being funnier? especially if the other dude IS actually funny, just like Meth IS actually a good rapper, so putting Meth above Buddens isnt really such a far-fetched idea. If they put Nelly above Buddens, then that;s a different story. THAT would be ridiculous and insulting.
