Yeah voice is not cool... The rest of it is sick. His flow is great, the sounds that come out of his rhymes are following the beat greatly...

I just don't understand what's with the voice...

EL-P's label sees you as a consumer of his goods. Welcome to life. You can give yourself a better title if you want.
When I buy EL-P's work, I treated like buying somebody effort. I don't understand why Crack A Bottle is setting digital sales record. Wait.. I know why.

Also, yes, I'm an audience of art. Why do I like art? Because art entertains me, provokes thought and emotion. Rap does that for me and it doesn't have to be on some preaching tip.
Okay, then stop paying attention to this bullshit. I think you're taking the preaching thing too literally.. I mean, how can these leaked songs be of any worth to you? Does it provide you anything more than some catchy compound rhymes that get tiresome after the second listen? Don't give me the bullshit of how the flow is that and rhymes are that.. the song is complete bullshit and you know it.

The music you prefer does nothing for me. I can't escape into an EL-P song because it's a black hole. Black holes aren't fun; they evoke no emotion but that of boredom.
Based on what I've learned of your preference. You like wack beats. That's why the music I like does nothing for you.

What do you need rap to preach to you? Give me examples.
Music needs passion, and this is going to sound corny but it needs to come from the heart. Holding on to a pill bottle at Ramada Inn doesn't do it for me. Do you know why Eminem sucks now? He tried to be gangsta gangsta with it and later realized how stupid he was. I'm afriad Nail In The Coffin was his last great effort.

If this album is as wack as I think it's going to be, and if he goes like 2xPlatinum - then I definitely know the worst thing happening in Hip Hop is its audience.

I thought we were speaking in general. When I said I like rap that evokes emotion and entertainment, the three leaked Em songs off of Relapse weren't even in the back of my mind.

No, I like beats that sound tight without $300 headphones.

"Oh, look, hear that little horn when I turn up the volume 100%? It gets me horny!" - salty

Music needs passion, and this is going to sound corny but it needs to come from the heart. Holding on to a pill bottle at Ramada Inn doesn't do it for me.
The sad thing is, Chamilionaire doesn't do any of that. Or if he does, he sucks at showing it.

Do you know why Eminem sucks now? He tried to be gangsta gangsta with it and later realized how stupid he was. I'm afriad Nail In The Coffin was his last great effort.
Nope. Unfounded analysis. I assume by "gangsta gangsta", you mean the beef that G-Unit dragged him into with Ja Rule and the Hailmary remix songs and such.

He was being "gangsta gangsta" in 2000 on "Don't Approach Me" and that was in 2000. In 2000, he was already on top and you were on his dick. You don't know what you're talking about.

Eminem sucks now because he doesn't have anything to rap about, and unlike Jay-Z, The Clipse, and Raekwon, he doesn't want to rap about the same shit for 15 years straight. Also, the hunger isn't there - it can't be - it's simple human nature. So, he delves further into this half comedic half demonic type of shit. It's a gimmick - his label has him exploring a niche in rap music (which is stupid because there's necro, brotha lynch, and all those other retards rapping about cannibalistic nonsense). But whatever.

and i'm not even knocking Jigga or the clipse. I still listen to their shit.

If this album is as wack as I think it's going to be, and if he goes like 2xPlatinum - then I definitely know the worst thing happening in Hip Hop is its audience.
If he goes 2x platinum, it will be the casual, passive Eminem fans buying the album. Nobody that I know to have been a stan 8 years ago, is feeling this new shit. It's the not-so-big Eminem fans who aren't trying to compare this new Em to the old Em that are feeling the new songs.

Stop saying that. My headphones were like $80 MSRP no more. You like commercialized beats. Jim Jonsin or whatever? That shit is played out. Do you ever hear a beat maker trying to sound like 2001 Dre? That shit is played out. But don't say I look for innovating sounds because Public Enemy has had beats that are still awe-inspiring till this day. That shit is probably "noise" to you.

Yeah, I'm a dumb Hip Hop fan too. You know this. Either way -- Cham > Lil Wayne > Cameron. U mad?

Eminem sucks now because he doesn't have anything to rap about
That's just as stupid as someone saying "I don't like listening to Tupac because I'm already depressed from watching the news."

What did Eminem say? Hip Hop was heading in the wrong direction with hooks and tight beats or something? GTFO Em. GTFO his blind fans.

A tight beat is a tight beat. It doesn't matter if it sounds similar to other shit. If a beat sounds similar to a tight beat, it's almost tight by association.

your bait is poo poo.

I like it when artists get personal and reveal shit about how their life is. That's what hooked me into Eminem's music. On top of the entertaining content, Eminem provided tight beats and tight hooks.

With 3am, I can't get past the voice, but even without the voice, nothing in 3am hooks me in because it's a horror story. I like comedies, dramas, and action films. I don't do horrors. So I can listen to The Clipse rap about coke (or watch Blow and Scarface) but I cannot listen to 3am (or watch Saw). I can but there's no entertainment value.
