My family doesn't really care about what race you go out with or if you are gay. It's just how I was raised. There isn't no one in my family gay, but my step-sister announced that she was gay after she moved to Washington. No one generally had a problem with it but it seemed like my step-dad was a little bothered but okay with it in general.

However, her girlfriend is scared to meet him b/c she knows no one from my family is gay...which is weird if he didn't tell my step-sis he had a problem.

Anyway, what would you guys think?

I would accept my kid for what he/she is. I don't see how I could disown my kid for that. As long as my kid is happy with what he/she wants and needs I'm fine.

I guess my family would talk a bit but overall it would eventually calm down and be chill. If not fuck them I'll defend my kid.
