Most definately very excited for it. I have all 11 Friday The 13th movies on DVD and they have a dedicated shelf on my DVD storage tower. Can't wait for this one!!

My birthday is on the Wednesday (11th) so I reckon I'll go and watch it on the Friday after my missus finishes work, maybe the Saturday morning.

this movie is gonna be off the hook. theres also a new DVD called *his name was Jason 30 yrs of friday the 13th*. bunch of interviews with cast and crew members plus interviews with all the guys who played Jason.

yeah they re-released pts 1 thru 3 just for the movie. with pt 3 you get 3-D glasses. pts 1 and 2 are uncut.

Part 1 and 2 aren't really "uncut." They are just the UK versions that weren't released here in the states with a little more gore and different footage. There is still plenty of footage that hasn't been included in the movie, however it is included in the "His Name Was Jason" dvd. Also the "His Name Was Jason" dvd comes with a free movie ticket for the new remake for those of you who wanna pick up the dvd and also wanna go check out the remake.

I wouldn't even worry. I highly doubt this movie will be sold out on opening night.
Nah, when they don't allow you book a ticket on the first night it means they predict a sell out, they know they will get plenty of people in to see it so they only sell at venue price, when you prebook you get it cheaper.

i had bought the his name was jason DVD, its quite interesting a lot of different stories on how these movies were made, and different ideas they were gonna do but didnt do.

i like the alternate ending they shot for pt 3, they talk about it. and show pics of it. hope one day that they release it on DVD.

just got back from the matinee

this movie was good but not great. New Line tried to do too much in this movie. the Actor who played jason.. Derek Mears did a real good job. Jason in this movie is more quicker and powerful. Kills were good nothin spectactular. typical New Line.

i enjoyed watching this in the theatre today, because i never got to be a part of the OG's. i was only 2 and 3 when pt 1 and 2 came out. it would have been nice to experience it though.

like the writers said this is there way of re-introducing it to the next generation who werent around in the 80's.

Great T-N-A in the film, all these chicks were HOT. :horny:

(*SPOILER ALERT*)
many of you have read i imagine..they go into a backstory with Jason(somewhat) i wont say anymore til all of you go see it this weekend or within the week.

looking for something to his weekend its worth checking out. curious to see everyone's opinion's on it.

You my friend are correct. A LOT of T-N-A.

I liked when that girl was in the water and was carried with the machete and then her tits were exposed one last time. Awesome.

Okay, that white dude with his house was fucking gay. Making a big deal about everything, plus when he fucked that blonde, he came out and got mad b/c his girl was with Clay. lmao. what a retard. Then he screamed like a little bitch in the car.

Not to be racist, but I thought the black dudes purpose was to die first in the group. I guess I was wrong. They seemed like they tried to make it a point to end some black stereotypes. I lol'd when he couldn't whack it when the dead deer was right there.

Anyway, overall I liked it. Good job overall but didn't scare me. It scared my girl though. It had a Texas Chainsaw Massacre feel too much though.

I wished they would have shown his face a little more, i didn't get a great look at it.
It sort of surprised me that the girl was alive, but they had to make some type of story correct?

*********/SPOILER ALERT************

Ya'll should watch it. It was pretty good.
