Look at countries like Sweden. Strong economy, yet socialist. High taxes, yet all internet, health care and education are free. So everyone pays high taxes, even the rich, and in return the poor everyone gets access to the same health care and education, even the poor.

i personally dont think in the long run socialism is the answer. for now, it mite be good with the current situation of the country.
