Agreed. Dude really needs to kick those habits before he throws out another album. His last couple of albums are weak. DMX used to be an amazing lyricist, his first two albums were absolutely stellar in my opinion, and it's about time we get a sober DMX to tear this shit up!


For god's sake this dude used to be compared to Tupac, definitely needs to clean up his act!



Edit: I did some research and this is what I found regarding his forthcoming album (which probably got pushed back due to his many felony arrests)

Walk With Me Now and You'll Fly With Me Later (2009)

DMX recently signed to Bodog Music to release his two next albums (on the same day), Walk with Me Now and You'll Fly with Me Later[5]

Originally due out on October 14, 2008, this was pushed back. It's expected to be released January of 2009.

my personal thought about new music from DMX,
He is not irrelevant anymore.


he basically gave us the same formula, same style, same lyrics on every album he spit out. i am not a DMX hater, i do own all of his albums even the poor year of the dog. he first two albums are classics, when he came out he was fresh and raw. but his style is tried and boring now.

unless he does a SNOOP WTF(singing country western music) and reinvent himself, but we know dmx likes to keep it real (stupid) and wont change his style for anyone but GOD.
