I thought you were trying to get into him personally but instead of downloading songs to see if he's good or not, you wanted to buy one of the CDs first and bump it.

Nah. A friend is going away for a bit and Im giving them a box full of CDs of dope up and coming rappers or dope rappers they may not have heard of to bump. Im not a huge Budden expert but Ive heard enough to know he definitly needs to make the list.

Which version of Whatever it Takes do you prefer?
for me you just can not beat the Original. it fits more with the lyrics,. i have to say i can not listen to the remix without having to stop it and go back to the original version.

cheers for picking out the best tracks, i have to admitt it takes awhile to get used to buddens voice and flow. but it the words he spits that get my attention., for obvious reasons since i am on this board i am a big PAC fan, so to hear another artist to open up on record and talk about his flaws and highs, is deffinetly an artist i am going to enjoy.

If I had to pick one to recommend for a first time listener, it probably woulda been Mood Muzik 3. That shit is ridiculous.

I prefer Mood Muzik 2. Mood Muzik 3 is dope, but 2 was more on an actual 'album feel' then 3.
