Mark Cuban wrote a letter to J.R. Smith of the Denver Nuggets that appeared on his blog on Friday.

'Dear JR.

Im sorry I didn't accept your generous offer of a signed pair of shoes. I think they were even my size.

The NBA tells me a tech should have been called on you for throwing the elbow and that I should pay a 25k dollar fine because owners aren’t supposed to get mad. Ever.

In the spirit of the joy of my getting fined and your not getting the tech, have the Nuggets PR folks contact the Mavs PR folks and I will donate 25k to the charity of your choice.

Unless of course your coach thinks that the wrong thing to do, or the NBA says I can’t because it would be a violation of a rule. In which case, I will find a charity that I think you would like and make the donation in your name.'

Lmao, what a cunt.

Mark Cuban is one of those kids who was bullied his whole life and his ego could never take it. Now, that he has his money, he can let his ego run free.

He's the type of guy where if you threatened to knock his ass out, his reply would be, "yeah I bet my lawyers would like that lawsuit"...you know the type...the kind you pay a bum $500 to shoot him.

^Lmao. True story. i once gave a bum $5 to help out in a scuffle that I didnt think was gonna happen, it started and he actually kicked the guys when they were on the ground, then when the police came he was the one saying to break out, lmao best $5 ever.

Also fuck this thread, I wish it wasnt so fucking long so I knew who liked who and all the shit. Go Lakers, even if they did lose to Orlando tonight.

Chris Wallace, general manager of the Grizzlies, said the team and Steve Francis mutually agreed earlier this week to negotiate a contract buyout. Francis hasn't been with the team in more than a week and is in Houston with his family.

"I'm not sure when it will happen, but we're working out (a buyout)," Wallace said. "With older guys, it's always a possibility that you'd head in this direction."

Francis, 31, is scheduled to earn $2.64 million this season, the final year of his contract.
damn this guy dont even play and he gets paid... i think he has the record for the most time being bought out of a contract

A reliable source also told me that Lakers forward Lamar Odom (expiring this season) is another possibility in an O'Neal deal.The Lakers' Andrew Bynum has not played up to expectations this season (grabbed five rebounds combined in two recent games, isn't controlling the boards like he should) and Pau Gasol is an extremely soft big.

Odom and filler to make the salaries match (Mihm and a minimum contract?) would make some sense for both sides.
L.A. could split its 96 frontcourt minutes between three effective bigs and overpower Western opponents (with Kobe waiting in the wings to decide any game).

Odom would keep the Raptors competitive and give them a multi-talented ball-handler who can create his own shot and shots for others. The team would have the cap space to go after a couple of solid free agents this off-season, when Odom, Anthony Parker, Jorge Garbojosa and Joey Graham come off the cap.

(Just wanted to add some more personal opinion to any O'Neal/Odom scenario. The Lakers would most likely insist the Raptors take Vladimir Radmanovic and his hefty contract instead of Mihm's expiring, which might be too big of a long-term commitment for Colangelo to take on. Ditto adding Luke Walton).
oneal=injured fo life
odom=underachiever fo life

haha, Odom/Mihm for Jermaine O'neal or Odom/Rad. Not bad. We can sit Bynum's Underachieving ass and make him watch Oneal from the bench. Rad is nothing but a 3 point shooter and he has a prettty big contract.
