Trailers been out a while now, I thought the first was brilliant, the second one decent and that Tokyo Drift one was terrible. However Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are back in it so it might be better.

I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up but that hijack scene has made it a bit hard. I hope this one doesn't get ruined and brings the series back to the same level as the first movie.

I thought the car was going to drive under the truck but it didn't!!! They are really trying hard to put a twist on things with this sequel. I am excited!

Yes. Because they spent a huge chunk of the budget on cars and effects and put the leftover change into the story and acting. The first one wasn't any different but Vin and Paul Walker's chemistry made up for it. Unfortunately, now that they pretty much milked this whole new age car chase genre dry, it's going to suck no matter what.

Tokyo Drift was actually really good and a lot better than part 2.

I think its was the culture difference being in a different setting which made Tokyo Drift much more interesting to watch, since the modern japanese culture is very entertaining, the way they have to park their cars in limited space and some shots of very pretty japanese girls.
also the concept of drifting is nice too.
i think the main japanese friend from Tokyo Drift will be in the lastest sequel also, i seen that in IMDB.

i am not a fan at all of the fast and furious series, its just another excuse for VIn and Paul Walker to cash in more money. Vin will never get to the popularity of action heros compare to sly, arnie and bruce.

i do think The Rock has allot more charisma and better sense of comedy to pull it off,
