I'm listening to Pro Tools right now. I'm disapointed a bit. First 3 tracks worthless.
When "Groundbreaking" started I thought this might be nice. Then a wack bassline and boring flow came in and again - disapointment.
Same with 7 pounds..

0% finance sounds like a "sly fox" ripoff.

Short Race is a first so-so track but then it's boooring too. Rock Marcy saves it literally.

Columbian ties are just okay. Not something to repeat tho.

Firehouse is too chaotic. It hurts my ears, while Path of Destruction is calm but vibeless.

Cinema - wow it would be nice BUT GZA's flow.. well yeah - BORING.

Life is a movie - The RZA sounds more like a parody of himself. I'd say it's the most energetic song on the whole album but it's again too chaotic.

Elastic Audio (Bonus) - paradoxally my favorite track from this album. It's a nice little live performance.

Paper plate and alphabets - I've heard them before and honestly disliked them. I skipped them.

To sum it up this album is booring, there's no even one song that would shine thru whole production's boringness. It doesn't differ from other this year's albums tho. I thought that this year will be nice for hip-hop but The RZA, Nas and now GZA all disapointed me. 2007 was MUCH better for hip-hop in my opinion and the situation gets worse as there's not much to look forward to now.

Oh I'm deleting this album now. I know those die hard Wu fans will buy it anyway but my opinion is that it's not worth it.

Now about Raw Footage......

Intro like an intro.. whatever

WTF at that track with Jeezy? Just lmao. It's a hip-hop zero.

After that bad, tasteless beginning it all becomes nice. Actually the whole decency of this album starts at this moment.

It takes a nation is nice. First serious track that owns any track from pro tools. Come to think of it most tracks from this album are better than GZA's whole album.

Gangsta rap made me do it - it's weird to listen to it now. It's an "old" track on a new album.

Hood mentality - A bit cheesy track, Ice Cube's rap saves it tho. I still have mixed feelings about it. It starts to grow on me.

Why me - okay, not my taste. RnB-ish chorus sucks ass.

Cold place.. Quite nice beat + nice rhymes from Cube = a decent track.

Jack n The Box - Ice Cube on a southside sounding beat. You might like it, I don't.

Do Ya Thang - "Gangsta rap" combined with a modern corny style. Cube's flow coming hard on a cool bassline.

Thank God - My first impression - "Ghostbusters!" I don't know why tho.

Here we come - The Ghostbusters revenge! Sounds creepy.

Get money.. - mixed feelings. After all I think it's a boring filler song.

Get used to it - wtf? All verses on this track suck (maybe except The Game's one). Chorus sucks.

Tomorrow - I love this track! Lyrics are classic! the line "downloader, whatchu gonna do? When your favorite mc gotta sue you" lol

Stand tall - A nice, calm track. One of my favorites.

Take me away - Nice beat, warm vibe, nice flow. I enjoy listening to this track even after a few repeats.

First of all I'd like to say that it's not as "West coast" sounding as his last album. It has a bit different vibe, or maybe it doesn't have a one constant vibe. Each song is different so everybody will find something they like, at least a bit. It's much better than pro tools. Definately it's not a hit album but it's a decent production, worth getting. Ice Cube keeps his level constant.

I know it wasnt AS good as I expected it to be, although I still like it. I think its better than LN, CL.

Some of his beats dont make him sound like hes a west coast rapper - a much different sound than 8 years ago.
