i know there will be threads about this movie so i'm making one in preparation for THE comedy movie of the summer. what do you guys think? will this equal Knocked Up and Superbad for hilarity? will it be another runaway hit for Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen and company? how awesome do the trailers look? i saw another one when i went to see Step Brothers and it only whet my appetite even more for this movie. i can't wait!

Seen it. AMAZINGLY funny. This movie was just insane. A lot of the bits you could tell they just let the camera run and then put it into the movie, the conversations with the two stars.
The story is cool, it actually has a decent amount of action too.
Im am flat out going to say that right now this is my favorite comedy. The reply value and quotability is just amazing.
While I was watching it I kept thinking "I have to remember that and use it" but when I came out there were just so many of those moments my brain doesnt know where to start and how to process it.
Having said that, you need to appreciate the stoner comedy to get into this. I went with a girl who doesnt smoke weed, and while she enjoyed it, she wasnt laughing nearly as much as I was.

Exactly what he said. I went with a girl who doesn't smoke weed and she flat out didn't get 3/4 of the movie.
i thought it was great, i watched a double feature, it and step brothers, and it murdered step brothers.
seriously i laughed thru the whole movie. seth rogan and that cole guy compliment each other perfectly, the way they deliver their jokes. funniest movie ive seen in years and i dont even smoke pot

no one got this scene in the theater, and it didn't even hit me until after the movie (a delayed laugh lol) but in the scene where Dale and Saul go to Red's house (after he had been shot twice and left for dead the first time lol), when Saul comes in and finds him in the bathroom he's got the Bone Thugs song Tha Crossroads playing LOL.

Seriously though, I wasn't high, neither drunk, yet that movies was hilarious. Like Step Brothers has nothing on it. I have to watch this movie again high someday. Classic quotes, can't remember any of them for now but it'll come back.
