Former G-Unit member Young Buck has challenged Tony Yayo to a boxing fight while on an XM Satellite radio interview.

"As far as Yayo talking about he wanna fight, I'll do it," said Buck. "I'll do it off of real nigga shit I swear on my child's life. If they line this shit up, where me and that nigga can go in a ring, we can put that shit on VH1. We can make that shit real life. I'll have Floyd Mayweather training me. I'll knock that nigga's fat, flabby, old non-rappin' ass out."

Anyone remember way back in '96 when Tupac challenged Puff Daddy to a boxing match? And The Game challenged 50 Cent who in turn challenged Fat Joe? One of these days I would actually like to see one of these happen; just for the fun of it.

These dudes are rappers, not boxers. Stick to the Mic to do your battles, leave the ring to those who treat the sport with respect. It should never happen, otherwise it damages the sport of boxing ...

it would be a fight, not a boxing match. it has nothing to do with the sport of boxing, the sport of boxing just coincidentally happen to have developed a ring that nicely confines a fight.

It has everything to do with the sport of boxing, there using the sport to settle a difference / conflict. And as rappers they should settle this conflict on the mic cuz thats where there ring is. Boxers dont put down there gloves and start having rap battle. And rappers shouldnt do vice versa. It aint gonna be a proper boxing fight because they would use dirty tricks, not tactics. Boxers have a code of conduct (which only sometimes gets broken i.e Tyson). These 2 would not respect that. And because of that they need to square up to each other next time they come face to face, if a fights what they wanna do. Boxing aint used for sorting out conflicts or disputes between 2 random people. Thats what would give the sport a bad name.

Im a big boxing fan, and i box amateur level. So im stating an opinion which is that of a fan, and that as a competitor.

It would work better with some ligthwieght ufc gloves. That way it's a fight that you can do more than just punch.Thing is,it'll only happen if both are able to make a lot of $.And I too would like to see more rappers do this.Instead of talking shit back and forth for years, just fight and shut up.But they are scared to lose and ruin thier street cred.I would actually respect them more though if they would, even if they lose.At least they didn't bitch out.

i would love to see this, yayo is a bitch. i would be rooting for buck all the way. of course neither of them wanna do it, but with buck being the one to issue the challenge and yayo not gonna accept, buck looks like the winner. but i dont think either one would really get down to it when it is all said and done.
