As reported on TMZ.com, the former beautician and president of Global Music Group, Susan Berg is now the new owner of Death Row Records after she paid $24 million to buy the notorious record label due to a judge ruling yesterday (June 24).

Susan now owns all of Tha Row's assets, including 20 unreleased tracks that were recorded in 1996 by the late Tupac Shakur.

Marion "Suge" Knight has not made any comments on this recent court order.

thanks man...i hope this album is a good one...maybe this will be different...i don't expect her to do anything, but i hope the company takes a look at the past record sales and sees that putting out original material and paying for sample clearances with a high budget video will benefit them more than ever. Tupac's music needs to go mainstream...that's the kind of promotion it needs..the promotion it never got...

pac is the best selling rap artist according to the Guinness World Book of Records, and his album sales prove that as well....nobody wants PAC to "die" or be "dead" either physically or spiritually with his music.. and if the company were to take that image of pac and make it light-up....his album would go platinum an x number of times man...lets just wait and see what happens..

now all they need to do is go back and re-release all his posthumanous releases with the original samples instead of all the stupid ass beats that were cooked up real quick to whore out 2Pac's name. i, like many others i'm sure, have been listening to shitty quality unreleased cds for over 12 years now and while i cherish these records dearly, we need them the way 2Pac intended for them to be released. the only way death row is going to be successful going forward is if they spend a little bit of coin and do his shit the right way and pay the appropriate royalties for the original samples. i've bought every record he's ever put out and i will continue to buy his records ONLY if they start putting his music out with the original samples. 2Pac may be gone, but surely he is not forgotten and his music is inspiring even in 2008!!!
