Thanks for the upload. It was an amazing movie, very inspiring and uplifting indeed.

Last good Common song.

Was the movie really that good? Looked like a Dangerous Minds ripoff to me from the trailers.
I'd say its as good if not better than Dangerous Minds. Definatley recommend it. It's also based on a true story

it was alright i thought, there was alot of corny shit that put me off though. e.g when Hilary Swank started rapping to the class...

Naw mang. She didn't start rapping to the class. She played a part of Tupac's "Keep Ya Head Up" and tried to explain the rhyme scheme to her class. However, the kids in her class started rappin lyrics from "Papaz Song" and then said something along the lines of "this white girl gonna teach us about rap?". In my personal opinion the ONLY corny part of the movie was when the black guy who moved back in with his mom (sorry if this sounds racist but I really can't remeber his name, probably cuz i'm drunk as fuck, high on cane, and baked), says, "Moms this don't fly." To which Hillary Swank replies "First of all, I'm nobodies mom." Then a latine girl (can't remeber her name) says, "He ain't callin you mom, its a sign of respect." I thought that was the only corny part of the movie. Straight up roaches, see this movie.
