What does it take to become a MOD around here? Do I have to prove myself first ... does Streethop need anymore mods ... ?

I would like to get more involved, in future, if possible, in this way and others.

Nowadays there is no need for mods. Three super-mods would be enough for the whole board.

It was fun when there was actually the necessity of mods being aroung. Oh glorious days of reporting members in Last Wordz.

Being a Mod isn't really a position you can apply for. Senior staff have to make decisions based on your contributions and knowledge of the topics discussed in their represented subforums. I believe it is SicC who is responsible for selecting Mods, if a position becomes available, he will notify the candidate that he believes is worthy.

I want to mod the death forum, and resurrect it. Hard job, yes. But death was such a HUGE subject in Tupac's lyrics. I feel that the forum shouldn't be limited to the discussion of just Tupac's death. In general, 2pac displayed many attitudes towards death, in disposing of common attitudes and prejudices born of sociological attitudes on the subject. Death is a subject that is underrated in Tupac's lyrics. Talking about Tupac and his death 'in a media sense', means nothing when you listen to his lyrics in the context to which he meant them. I'm glad the death forum is back, but I feel we should avoid avoid media speculation and focus on Tupac's attitude towards death; if you really wanna post in the death forum and understand him. Biggie had a similar attitude 'death controls y'all, BIG don't fool y'all' - this I feel is what pac talks 'bout. Closing the death forum in the first place, disregards the duality of Tupac's existence in the first place. I will talk about it again and again, but why you gotta discuss things in a one-sided perspective? Death plays a big part in life, this is what I feel Pac was trying to preach. Just like Socrates preached ignorance in the search of wisdom. Do you not see the paradox?
