anybody here listen to trip hop that can suggest some good shit for me, so far i've listened to alotta:

Dj Shadow
Massive Attack
Triky
and Portishead

... and outta those i'd have to say i'm feelin Portishead ish more than anything else. So somebody school me to some more dope trip hop type shit. Basically I wanna hear more tracks like "Angel" by Massive Attacl, which was used on Snatch

I would call some RJD2 triphop. It's a mixture of things at least. I simply love DJ Shadow. Massive Attack I never got into, I dunno, maybe I'll check it out.

But how in the fuck can there be a triphop-thread with six replies and no mention of Cannibal Ox and El-P?

Cut Chemist and Gorillaz are good too. Most Gorillaz shit has been produced or co-produced by Danger Mouse and I think Dan the Automator, so I guess check their shit out too. It's been a while since I did, but I listened to them long ago. I remember that song Clint Eastwood. It would annoy the fuck out of me, but it's still a sorta cool song. Del Tha Funky Homosapien got an album called Deltron 3030, it's some futuristic shit but it is a fucking dope album. You can call it trip-hop.
