Ne-Yo Arrested For Speeding

R&B crooner Ne-Yo was reportedly arrested earlier this week for reckless driving and driving without a valid license.

According to TMZ, the singer - real name Shaffer Smith - was arrested on Tuesday, February 19, in Cobb County, Ga., outside of Atlanta. Authorities claim the singer was speeding, driving well over 100 mph in his 2006 Range Rover. Cash bond was set at $1,300.

In related news Ne-Yo's sophomore effort, Because of You, recently took home a Grammy for Best Contemporary R&B album.

SOHH caught up with the Def Jam crooner during his Grammy pre party to discuss his thoughts on the re-release of Michael Jackson's highly successful Thriller album and to confirm reports that he is currently working with the pop icon on a comeback disc.
